It’s Not Like That Anymore…Is it? (INSIGHT: BIG LIZ)

Liz was crying.  Her father, Nathan, had scolded her about giving out information to strange men.  Especially to those nosing around acting as though they were trying to help.  But she kept on crying, and Nathan let out a sigh.

He held his young daughter Liz in his arms as they rocked back and forth in the swinging bench on the porch in front of their home.  His wife would watch them from the kitchen window inside the house as he would take these moments to teach her about life and growing up.

Nathan liked to impart as much information that he could to his daughter and he would always tell her through stories about the good things he experienced in his life, as well as the bad.  He would notice in her face when the bad ones started to really bring her down.  Her smile would begin to vanish and a look of despair would appear on her face.
